At 99 Glide, we’re a dynamic and extremely focused team dedicated to top-tier truck repair and fleet maintenance. As the exclusive repair center for several fleets and the exclusive inspection company for the U.S. Department of Energy and UTI, we take pride in the quality and precision of our work.
We’re growing fast, taking a scientific and detailed approach to diagnostics and repair while maintaining speed and efficiency. We aspire to expand with multiple locations and service trucks across California.
With a stock of over 450 rebuilt differentials and transmissions, we’re one of only a few in California to offer this level of inventory. Our expertise spans all aspects of fleet maintenance and repair, from diagnostics to rebuilds. You would be joining as the 3rd full-time mechanic for this fast-growing company.
Must-Haves
Experience: 2–5 years in truck repair and diagnostics.
Skills: Proficient with OEM and 3rd-party software and tools to diagnose and fix:
Electrical faults
DEF/aftertreatment issues
Fuel, oil, coolant, and low power problems
Suspension and alignment issues
Rebuild Knowledge: Familiarity with rebuilding modern differentials and transmissions or the ability to learn fast.
Hands-On Repairs: Confidently handle big jobs (e.g., engine rebuilds, clutch replacements) and smaller repairs.
Road Repairs: Excellent at performing repairs on the road with efficiency and problem-solving skills.
Observant and Detailed: Perform thorough BIT inspections.
Work Ethic: Willing to work up to 7 days a week, sometimes for extended periods.
Mindset: Positive attitude, strong communicator, and committed to growth.
Clean Lifestyle: Drug-free and dependable.
